Elmar Langner was born and grew up in the divided city of Görlitz/Zgorzelec. He studied and lived in East Berlin until the fall of the Wall, and is still living in the reunified Berlin. Elmar is an Integrative Mediator and Programme Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina with CSSP Berlin Center for Integrative Mediation. Before, he was responsible for CSSP’s Kosovo projects. Prior to joining CSSP, he worked as a Civil Peace Service country coordinator in Myanmar, as a self-employed systemic coach, mediator and start-up consultant, and as executive chairman of a German cultural NGO.
