Dr Carla Schraml is Integrative Mediator and project manager for CSSP’s programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a sociologist who has been working on conflicts and peacebuilding in academia and in project implementation and consultation for the last 10 years. She holds a diploma in sociology from TU Dresden and Università degli Studi di Trento and a PhD from Marburg University. Before joining CSSP she has worked as freelance consultant in the field of peacebuilding and development work and before that for the Working Group on Peace and Development (FriEnt) and GIZ as project manager and consultant and as member of research staff at Marburg University. Carla has lived and worked in Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Burundi, France and Botswana and gathered working experiences from various contexts such as Kenia, Uganda, Guinea, DR Congo and Liberia.
